we’ve assembled a group of diverse, talented designers from all around the globe who each bring unique perspectives to our work and studio culture. while we are united by a shared love of good design, we are also inspired by each other’s passions for art, food, music, and active lifestyles.

fred bould
principal partner, design director
fred bould is a pittsburgh native and earned his bfa design at carnegie mellon's school of design. his early years as a designer were spent in london design consultancies followed by an ms product design at the stanford school of engineering. at stanford he focused on mechanical engineering and smart product design. fred is also an alumni of the mechanical engineering department's product realization lab. he is passionate about designing to maximize beauty and utility.
jamie perin
partner, creative director
jamie earned a bfa in industrial design from the ohio state university and began her career in corporate product development before moving into consulting. as a partner, she leads teams from early concept through execution, balancing form and function. She’s passionate about creating lasting products that pair beauty with thoughtful user experiences.
sam lavoie
partner, studio director
originally from massachusetts, sam studied industrial design and sculpture at the rhode island school of design. as a partner, he brings a deep commitment to quality and craft, strengthening thoughtful processes that support consistently excellent design work.

our studio space
if you visit our studio, you’ll find the place humming with a creative buzz that makes you feel at ease and energized. the building is a sun-filled 7000-square-foot converted warehouse filled with technology, tools, reference resources, and flexible-use spaces that make it easy to focus and flow. we have a sprawling open floorplan studio space, two conference rooms, a full kitchen and break area, a well-equipped shop, a 3D printing lab, and even a fitness area.
